Note Keeping:
I keep brief notes summarising each session in accordance with COSCA Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice, and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. These are purely to help me in my work with you. My notes are securely stored, and anonymised, you cannot be identified from them.

Sessions:
Sessions last for 60 minutes, normally occurring weekly or fortnightly and usually at the same time, place, and day. We review our work together at regular intervals.

How I work:
I am committed to providing an anti-discriminatory, inclusive, trauma informed, and neurodivergent affirming service. I strive to ensure this practice is present in all of our work. I trained as a Pluralistic Counsellor & Psychotherapist, and an Outdoor Therapist. Pluralistic therapy is about working in partnership with you, building a relationship, hearing your preferences, and
exploring which approaches work best for you. I believe each client is unique and therefore may need different things from therapy. In ‘Outdoor Therapy’ I meet with you at your preferred location, this is agreed in advance.

Duration of Counselling:
The duration of counselling varies from person to person.

Endings:
I am mindful of endings and will work with you to create a mutually agreed ending.

Fees:
£60 per 60 min session.
Concessionary rate £40 per 60 min session (limited availability, case by case basis).
Travel fee (Outdoor Therapy) agreed case by case dependent on location (max £10).
Payment can be made by bank transfer, or cash. Fees should be paid on or before the day your session takes place. A payment link will be sent to you. Please use your first name as the reference for your payment.

Cancellation:
I will give as much notice as possible of holidays and request that you do the same. I require 48 hrs notice of cancellation, otherwise the full session fee is payable. In the event of non-attendance contact should be made before the next scheduled appointment. If you are unable to attend our weekly/fortnightly sessions, we agree to discuss alternatives. If cancellations are excessive, the decision to continue with therapy remains solely with the counsellor.
